Q 3.3 Exercise Answer the following questions. 1. What does it mean to ‘explore others’ paths”? No more than 1/2 page. 2. Patterson gives an example of how to address a concern that someone is sexually or otherwise harassing you (p. 190-192). Ask a rep in your HR department what they think of Patterson's suggestion. Any issues? Why? One of the things with a lot of Patterson's suggestions is they may not be very good from a legal perspective (the school reps with the parent facing a child being held back is another one where organizational policies and some legal CYA may make the ideas hard to use). Always keep in mind that you work in an organization and check on policies concerning conflict before you go solo. We start coverage of handling internal work conflict and policies next week. And answer this one no more than a page. Objective: 3g
